Anyah Prasad

Early Career Researcher

Anyah Prasad is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Einstein Center for Population Diversity and is affiliated with the Institute for Medical Sociology and Rehabilitation Science at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. With interdisciplinary training in medicine and social gerontology, her research focuses on aging in LGBTQ+ communities, with particular attention to how social networks, chosen families, and innovative family structures influence health, well-being, and caregiving across the life course. She is also interested in the subjective experience of time and aging, examining how social relationships shape subjective and biological aging and contribute to healthy longevity.
