Berlin Survey

The Berlin Survey is a representative survey of Berlin residents conducted in 2026 by the ECPD and the Hertie School. It focuses on everyday life in the city, with particular emphasis on family, care and caregiving, health, ageing, and social challenges.

FAMPEN

„Marriage, children, divorce: The role of family events on pension entitlements in France and Germany (FAMPEN)” is a project funded by the Research Network Old-Age Security (FNA) of the German Pension Fund and carried out in collaboration with researchers at INED, France’s National Institute for Demographic Studies.

DIDI

Divorce and Diagnosis (DIDI) is a DFG-funded research project conducted in collaboration with Charité and the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB). The project examines the relationship between family transitions, particularly divorce, employment trajectories, health outcomes, and mortality.
