Objective 5 aims at examining the link between family transitions (such as childbirth, marriage, death of a partner or separation) and economic and health inequalities.

We will study these inequalities using longitudinal data across the life course, thereby considering diverse life course experiences from early adulthood to old age. The focus will be on multiple specific health outcomes (e.g., cardiovascular diseases, cancer, depression) on the one hand, and economic outcomes (e.g., labour market earnings, pension income, private wealth) on the other, while accounting for the interrelatedness of economic and health inequalities.
