ECPD Researchers Organize Session at the ESHMS Conference 2026

ECPD Fellow Ariane Bertogg and ECPD Early Career Researchers Enrique Alonso-Perez and Sarah Schmauk organized the session “Family Diversities in Aging Societies” at the ESHMS Conference Mental Health in Times of Uncertainty, held from 19 to 21 August 2026 at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).

The session brought together research examining how diverse family arrangements relate to care, health, and social participation across the life course. By combining different perspectives, it highlighted the importance of family diversity in understanding social and health inequalities in aging societies.
