Tina Baier is Associate Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Bern and an affiliated researcher at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. Her research interests include social and educational inequalities, family processes, intergenerational transmission, and social science genetics. She is particularly interested in understanding how family environments shape educational outcomes and contribute to the transmission of advantage and disadvantage across generations.
