Tobias is Assistant Professor of Healthy Ageing at the Population Research Centre, University of Groningen, and Coordinator of the Health Demography Research Centre at Manipal Academy for Higher Education, India. His research focuses on the determinants of health inequalities across the life course and on regional health differences from a European and international perspective.
