Dr. Alina Schmitz is a sociologist, postdoctoral researcher and scientific coordinator of the HBS-doctoral programme “New challenges in ageing societies” at TU Dortmund University. Her work focuses on gender and socioeconomic inequalities in the determinants of (mental) health and subjective well-being from a cross-national perspective.
