Dr. Jianghong Li is a Senior Researcher at the WZB Social Science Center Berlin. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Curtin University and an Honorary Research Associate at Telethon KIDS Institute, The University of Western Australia, in Western Australia. Her research interests revolve around social, economic, psychological, cultural determinants of child health and development. Her current research focuses on the impact of parents’ long work hours and precarious working timing on the health and wellbeing of children in diverse national contexts (Australia, China, Germany, the UK, and the US). Dr. Li has extensive research experience in inter-disciplinary research across several disciplines including labour economics, family sociology, clinical psychology, health and epidemiology, and biomedical science. She brings to the ECPD her unique experience in and skills for cross-country and cross disciplinary research, with an attempt to help broaden and enrich collaborations among the ECPD researchers.
