Congratulations to Anette, a Principal Investigator at the ECPD, who has been elected as a member of Leopoldina. As a sociologist, Anette Eva Fasang’s research focuses primarily on quantitative and qualitative methods, investigating demographic and social structure issues and examining the sociology of families and life courses. She is a member of the board of the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script (SCRIPTS)” and has received numerous prizes and awards for her work. Among these are her 2024 Fellowship of the European Academy of Sociology and the Rosabeth Moss Kanter Prize for Excellence in Research on Work and Family, which she received in 2023 and 2018.
